The Art on this page is produced virtually on a PC and brought into the real worl with a 3d printer made by BitesfromBytes.com. This printer uses a plastic string made out of ABS to build a real object layer by layer. It melts the plastic when it enters the printhead, and squisches it out in long small strands which are laid down layer by layer till the object is finished.

 

It can print in many different colors, but only one color at the time. A selection of possible colors can be seen in the following picture.

 

Once the objects are designed and printed, they are complemented with some electronics to make a nice interresting object.
